Roomsss operates a property rental marketplace connecting guests and hosts across Pakistan. To provide this service, we collect and process certain personal data. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
By using the Roomsss Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this policy.

3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Process bookings, payments, and payouts.
- Verify host identity and property legitimacy.
- Send booking confirmations, updates, and WhatsApp notifications.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Improve the Platform through analytics and user research.
- Comply with legal obligations under Pakistani law.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the service. Specifically:
- Account data: retained until account deletion + 30 days.
- Booking records: retained for 7 years for financial compliance.
- Reviews: retained as part of the platform record.
- Communication logs: retained for 2 years for dispute resolution.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).
6. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
- Two-factor authentication options for accounts.
- Regular security audits and penetration testing.
- Strict internal access controls — only authorised staff access personal data.
No system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at security@roomsss.pk.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Pakistani law and our own policy, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
- Deletion — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing for marketing or profiling purposes.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time.

9. Children's Privacy
The Roomsss Platform is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact privacy@roomsss.pk and we will delete it promptly.
10. International Transfers
Your data is primarily stored on servers located in Pakistan. Some service providers may process data in other countries. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards (contractual clauses, security standards) are in place to protect your data to the same standard as if it were held in Pakistan.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or WhatsApp at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The date of the latest revision is always shown at the top of this page.
